Matt the Rat

 
I am Matt,
and everyone humane,
calls me a "rat."
I'm a thin-tailed,
medium sized rodent.
I forage for food,  

          

And also,

I mate.
I am so nocturnal,
Don't get confused,
My cousin,
The brown rat,
Stays up late.
Day or night.
I am Matt the rat.
That's right.
Uh huh.
Oh yeah.
Now scram!
